CapeAuraCamps Bay

CapeAura is at 55 Rottingdean Road in Camps Bay, Cape Town. The guesthouse is on a residential street with little traffic, with Atlantic and mountain outlooks that vary by suite. Camps Bay beach and promenade are approximately 1 km away; published distances and journey times are approximate.

CapeAura has entrance steps and internal stairs. If anyone in your party has a mobility or access requirement, describe it to the team before reserving. The guest-space photographs help show the setting, but a suitable room and route should be confirmed for your specific needs.

Include the number of adults and children, children's ages, preferred room sharing and any cot, pet or other requirement in your enquiry. Extra single beds for larger groups are agreed before confirmation. The team should confirm the arrangement for your particular group rather than assuming every suite accepts the same occupancy or request.

CapeAura has six individual suites: three Suites with Sea View, two Suites with Table Mountain View and one King Suite with Jacuzzi. You can request one suite, several suites or the entire guesthouse. Send your dates and room preferences so availability and the arrangement for your party can be confirmed.

The Sea View Suites have a king-size bed, a Jacuzzi bath and shower, and a private sea-view terrace. Each suite is individually decorated, so explore its room and bathroom photographs before selecting your stay. The team can confirm the particular suite available for your dates and any extra-bed request.

Both have a king-size bed and private terrace facing Table Mountain. One bathroom has a bathtub and shower; the other has a shower only. The shower-layout suite also has a single sofa bed and sleeps up to three guests. If a bathtub or sofa bed is essential, confirm that specific layout before booking.

The King Suite with Jacuzzi has a king-size bed and its own outdoor Jacuzzi patio. This is a different arrangement from the Jacuzzi baths in the Sea View Suites. Include your preference in the reservation request so the team can check availability and explain the layout for your stay.

Every suite has a private bathroom, premium mattress, bedside reading lamps, air conditioning and heating, high-speed Wi-Fi, a sitting area and wardrobes. A fridge, kettle with coffee, tea and sugar, iron, safe and hairdryer are listed, along with toiletries and pool or beach towels. TVs offer DStv and Netflix, Disney+ and Prime Video.

Breakfast is not offered. Guests can prepare their own meals in the fully equipped communal kitchen, and there is a coffee machine in the lounge. Each suite also has a fridge and kettle. Discuss any group catering plans in advance so the team can confirm whether the proposed arrangement is suitable.

The pool, lounge, communal kitchen and sea-view terrace are available to all CapeAura guests. With an exclusive whole-guesthouse booking, those guest spaces are reserved for your group. Private suite terraces and the King Suite's outdoor Jacuzzi patio belong to their respective suites.

Quiet hours are 9pm to 9am every day because CapeAura is in a residential neighbourhood. The property must remain quiet during those hours. This applies to individual-suite bookings and to groups renting the entire guesthouse, so please take it into account when planning arrivals, departures and time together.

Daily cleaning is provided, and a laundry service is available at the guesthouse. Ask the team about the laundry arrangements and any charges for your stay, particularly for a longer visit or a group. Do not assume a specific laundry turnaround time unless it has been confirmed.

You can request exclusive use of all six suites and the guest spaces. CapeAura accommodates up to 14 guests, or up to 18 in total with extra single beds arranged in the larger rooms. Guest numbers, the room layout, extra beds and the rate must be agreed with the team before confirmation.

Agencies and tour operators can enquire about a selection of suites or exclusive use of the guesthouse. Send your dates, rooming requirements, guest numbers, arrival plan and any guide or driver needs. The team will confirm availability and a quote; trade terms, allocations and special arrangements are agreed directly.

You can enquire about accommodation for a wedding party's guests, including several suites or exclusive use. Share your dates and room requirements so the team can assess the available arrangement. A stay at CapeAura does not include permission to hold a wedding, reception or event at the guesthouse, and quiet hours still apply.

Provide the dates, guest and staff numbers, preferred room sharing, and the size and number of vehicles and trailers. The team will assess accommodation, access, parking and arrival times for the specific group. Please obtain confirmation before planning a coach or overland stop at CapeAura.

Describe your plans, visitor numbers and timing before booking. Requests for gatherings, outside visitors or a catering setup are assessed individually and need the team's agreement. Exclusive use of the guesthouse does not automatically grant event permission, and the 9pm–9am quiet hours continue to apply.

Parking is available in front of the property, with 24-hour camera surveillance. Tell the team how many vehicles you are bringing and their size so the practical arrangement can be confirmed. Coaches, trailers and overland vehicles need an individual access and parking assessment before arrival.

The property entrance and suites use smart locks. The team will confirm the arrival instructions and check-in and check-out arrangements for your booking. Ask in advance about early arrival, late departure or luggage storage, and share any unusual arrival time so it can be considered alongside the quiet hours.

Transfers from Cape Town International Airport to CapeAura and return transfers can be arranged on request. Send flight details, group size and luggage needs so the team can confirm availability, the right transport and a quote. Pickup instructions and the agreed inclusions should be confirmed before travel.

Published options include township visits, wine tasting, the Cape Peninsula, shark cage diving, kayaking, Atlantis dunes quad biking, paragliding and sunset tours. The team confirms availability, the price, transport and inclusions before booking. Outdoor activities depend on conditions, and wildlife sightings are not guaranteed.
